Ready, Set, BLOG!

I have wanted to start our family blog for a long time now.   I figured that I would start it after we got married.   You know, after all of the planning and getting ready for the wedding.  And then some time went by.   And then I got pregnant and was thinking I should start the blog then.   I had big plans!  I was going to blog each week to document how things were going.   I wanted to remember all of the little details.  And then some time went by.  And then the baby was born.

I could kick myself for not starting this earlier.  There are so many things that go on in life that I wish I could document.   I want to remember it all.   I want something for Jerry to read, something for our child(ren), something for me.  It was always just easier to dream it up than to actual start it.

Well, there is no better time to start than today.  So here we go!  I will forewarn you--I love details.  I may be long-winded, but this blog is more for me and our family than it is for anyone else.  I am beginning this blog in the hopes that I will print it to make a book for us in the future.

Just as an FYI:  I am going to blog about some things that happened prior to starting this blog and will add them as the dates that they should have occurred.  This should be fun.
